Cooperative CFO / Patronage Accountant
Target: market-rate contract; planned conversion to Class B seat post-Flip
Owns the chart of accounts, patronage allocation, Core Charge ledger, and the Hub/Privateer split engine. Closes the books that the Sovereign OS posts to automatically.
The right person
A CPA or experienced controller with cooperative, multi-entity, or franchise accounting background. You're comfortable with a chart of accounts that's enforced by software, not by spreadsheet discipline.
What this seat actually owns
- Owns the canonical 4-digit chart of accounts and every standard journal entry.
- Reviews and signs off on patronage allocation each fiscal close.
- Owns the Core Charge ledger (refundable 10%-of-wholesale deposits) and the 30-day forfeiture cure rules.
- Reconciles the OEM lease line (60-mo / 8% APR wholesale-derived) against fleet revenue.
- Sits on the six-expert Safety Net (Compliance seat) for revenue-related changes.
The rhythm
- 1Daily: review OS-posted journal entries; clear exceptions.
- 2Monthly close; patronage accrual review.
- 3Quarterly board reporting; annual patronage distribution.
Where this seat can grow
Starts as a market-rate contract; the intent is to convert to a Class B seat after the cooperative conversion, subject to the subscription agreement.
