Educators & STEM

The schoolyard is the classroom.

Your robotics, STEM, and shop students don't have to learn on a $40 kit that gets shelved in May. Hand them a real fleet — running, telemetry-monitored, and visible from the front office window.

The Educator Pitch

Cut the landscaping line item. Fund the robotics lab.

Every school, district, or civic organization gets a flat 10% Educator/Civic discount on any subscription tier — applied automatically once we verify enrollment. Schools that go further and have their students take on the Runner and Apprentice roles for their own campus fleet step up to a planned 50% discount. One rule, two states — no haggling, no bespoke pricing memos.

Three programs, one career pathway

From the first robotics class on Monday morning to a paid summer apprenticeship, students move through On It Robotics on a single ladder.

Tier 1
Classroom Fleet License
10% Educator/Civic discount
  • Sovereign OS dashboard access for the instructor and roster
  • Service Templates and curriculum modules (mowers, batteries, telemetry)
  • Privateer-led intro session at the start of each semester
  • Flat 10% discount applied to any subscription tier on the campus
  • No physical fleet required — pair with a local Privateer's units
Tier 2
Student-Led Campus Fleet
Planned 50% discount — students run it
  • Students take on the Runner & Apprentice roles for the campus fleet
  • Telemetry routed to a classroom dashboard for live grading
  • Co-op sends a Runner out as needed to keep the fleet on point
  • 50% rate keeps the Hub whole on hardware + dispatch; labor offset funds the discount
  • Anything deeper than 50% requires board approval per Bylaws
Tier 3
Summer Apprentice Program
Paid + planned certification
  • Planned 10-week paid summer placement with a sector Privateer
  • Designed to qualify for Arkansas workforce-development incentives
  • Planned cooperative-issued On It Technician I certification
  • Designed as an on-ramp to a Class B (Worker) cooperative seat once eligible

The Student Rotation

Your students run the campus.

The Sovereign OS classroom view turns fleet operations into a graded calendar. Students sign up for shifts, accept work orders, log inspections, and review telemetry — exactly the workflow a working Privateer uses.

  • Roster-based shift sign-up with instructor approval gates
  • Live unit telemetry — battery, runtime, geofence, fault codes
  • Auto-generated work orders for blade swaps, charging, and hot-swap requests
  • Built-in grading rubric: uptime, response time, inspection completeness
  • A licensed Privateer remains the responsible operator of record
Summer Apprentice Program

Get paid. Get certified. Get a sector.

Ten weeks. A real paycheck. A real Privateer mentor. A planned certification the cooperative will use to dispatch work. The program is designed to qualify for Arkansas workforce-development incentives so the wage doesn't come out of the school's budget.
