Sector Privateer

Target: profile-based share of sector revenue — BYO ~80% / Lease ~70% (before OEM lease line)

Owns a sector. Brings customers, runs Estate-and-up routes on Co-op-leased units (Lease profile) or any tier with their own equipment (BYO profile). Eligible to earn the market-based Orphan Recovery Bounty for non-cooperative hardware brought in for refining.

Who fills this seat

The right person

A small-business operator or owner-operator who wants to run their own book without paying a franchise tax forever. Comes with — or quickly builds — a customer list. Comfortable being the human in the loop while the robots do the labor.

How you contribute

What this seat actually owns

  • Owns a defined service sector inside the cooperative — usually a slice of a city or county.
  • Brings customers and dispatches robots; keeps a profile-based share of route revenue (BYO ~80% / Lease ~70% before OEM lease line).
  • Lease Privateers route Estate-tier ($199+) work; Direct Municipal/Commercial flows route through the Hub.
  • Shares 3 of 9 democratic board seats with Runners, Apprentices, and Hub Leads.
  • Eligible to earn the market-based Orphan Recovery Bounty for non-cooperative end-of-life robots brought in for refining.
A day or week in the role

The rhythm

  • 130-min morning telemetry sweep — yesterday's routes are already closed and settled.
  • 21–2 hours dispatch + customer touchpoints (most of it is exception handling).
  • 33–4 hours rotating with the Pod on hard properties: first mows, new installs, Estate routes.
  • 41 hour customer growth — knocking the next street; signing one neighbor.
  • 515-min end-of-day close; OS posts the split automatically.
Path forward

Where this seat can grow

Privateer is the operator seat that grows into a Hub. Year 2 you lead a Pod and mentor Apprentices; Year 3+ you either step up to Hub Lead inside the existing co-op or charter a new Hub — including in your hometown out of state.
